Convection
WASD to move and Left click with mouse or O key to Dash! (Forgot to add a tutorial)
The only assets I used were the dialogue editor asset and the retro sound pack, both of which can be found on the unity asset store but everything else like art and programming was done by me
Hope you enjoyed it though it is a bit short as this was for a game jam!

I LOVE the flame trail VFX
Having a hard time getting past the first upward pathway, camera movement is a little much because it yeets me up and down while I'm trying not to suck. I can get past that point but often fall back down.
turns out you dash towards your mouse pointer! way easier now
I have troubles with the wall jumping (i'm stuck early), but the flame animation while jumping is very nice !
The only issue I see with it is that the wall jumping is somewhat finnicky, leading to some annoying sections; otherwise great game!
